fmedge was established in 2003 to provide flexible, competency based training and education, to the facility management industry.  As the leading registered training organisation in the industry within Australia, we are unique in offering a range of on-line, blended and classroom based delivery options.

The driving force behind fmedge was its two directors and shareholders, Martin Leitch and Brian Purdey. Their passion for expanding and disseminating facility management knowledge provided the foundation for the formation of fmedge.

The strength of the business derives from many years experience in facility management consultancy, an active involvement with relevant professional bodies and the willingness to embrace latest education delivery technologies. The company's international network of contacts enables fmedge to keep abreast of emerging facility management trends.

The success of fmedge is also founded on the valuable partnerships that have been established with other like-minded individuals and organisations in Australia and overseas.

fmedge facility management training is a private Registered Training Organisation (Provider No. 21504). This status means that we are authorised by the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA) to award nationally recognised qualifications within the Australian Qualifications Framework and our processes comply with the requirements of the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF).
